The Pomodoro Technique
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It uses a kitchen timer to break work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.
Each 25-minute work period is called a "pomodoro" (Italian for tomato, named after the tomato-shaped timer Cirillo used). After four pomodoros, you take a longer break of 15-30 minutes.
